What we collect, and the things we made a point of not collecting
We process personal data under the GDPR and Dataskyddslagen (2018:218). The short version: what is needed to ship a parcel and answer an email, and nothing about your boat.
Who is responsible

What we never ask for
This is unusual enough to put first. On this site there is no field, anywhere, for:
- a vessel registration number or any vessel identity
- insurance policy details
- a mooring location, a berth number or any location data
- a date of birth, a personnummer or any national identifier
We do not need them to sell you a cover, and holding them would create a risk to you with no benefit to either of us.
What we do collect

Marketing consent is a separate tick box from the order. Placing an order does not sign you up for anything, and unticking the marketing box does not affect your order.
Who else sees it
Only the parties who need it to complete the job: the carrier who delivers your parcel, the payment provider that processes your payment, our hosting and email providers, and our accountant. Each is bound by a processing agreement.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else’s advertising.
Where a provider processes data outside the EU or EEA, that transfer relies on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
Your rights
- Access: a copy of what we hold about you.
- Rectification: correction of anything wrong.
- Erasure: deletion, except where accounting law requires us to keep an order record.
- Restriction and objection: to some processing.
- Portability: your data in a machine-readable format.
- Withdrawal of consent: at any time, without affecting what came before.

If you think we handle your personal data wrongly, you can complain to Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY), the Swedish data protection authority.
IMY is Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, Box 8114, 104 20 Stockholm. You may complain to them whether or not you have raised it with us first.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Access to order data is limited to the people who need it. We do not store card details at any point; payment is handled by the payment provider configured for this shop.
Children
This shop is not intended for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. Buyers between 13 and 17 need a guardian’s consent to order.
