Stitched, not taped. Every needle hole is an opening, and this is where water arrives first.
No vent on this item. Water stops at the coating; nothing lets the trapped air out.
A-01
The entry cockpit cover, for a boat that is used through the summer and put away for winter.

This is a cover. It is not safety equipment, and it will not hold a boat in place. Check your mooring and your straps separately.
Measure before you order. A cover that is too tight tears at the corners, and one that is too loose flogs in the wind and wears itself out. How to measure.
Everything we know about this item
Water column
1,800 mm
EN 20811, hydrostatic head, on the fabric away from any seam.
1,800 mm is enough for rain running off a sloped surface. Standing water on a flat, unsupported panel will eventually come through.
Seam treatment
Stitched
Stitched, not taped. Every needle hole is an opening. Under sustained rain, water finds the seam before it finds the fabric. This is the weak point on this item, and we would rather say so than let you discover it.
Vents and condensation
No vents
A fully waterproof cover with no ventilation traps condensation underneath. That water comes from the air inside, not from rain. Vents let it out. The covers with vents are marked.
Fastening and wind
Drawcord
Fastened at every point, this stays put in ordinary weather. It is a light cover and it is not meant to be left tensioned outdoors through a windy season.
Care
Do not machine wash
Cold water, soft brush, no detergent that contains softener. Machine washing strips the coating. Dry it fully before folding or it will smell.
UV test
Not tested
Not tested. We have no UV test report for this fabric, so we do not print a UPF number and we do not tell you how many seasons the colour will hold. What we can tell you is the fibre, the coating and the weight, which are below.
Fabric
Dimensions
Measured over the cockpit opening, not the flat panel. Add nothing for slack, the pattern already has it.
Your right to complain
You can report a fault for three years from delivery. For the first two years, if something is wrong, we have to show it wasn't faulty when you got it. Not the other way round.
ReklamationChanging your mind
You have 14 days to change your mind, counted from the day after you receive the goods. You do not have to give a reason. Every item on this site is a standard size, so the right of withdrawal applies to all of them without exception.
ÅngerrättIf we say no
If we say no to your claim and you disagree, you can take it to Allmänna reklamationsnämnden (ARN). It is free for you, and we will follow their recommendation.
