3,000 mm with taped seams. Pitched over a frame it sheds rain well; pitched slack it collects a pond in the middle and the pole sleeves take the load.

Seam treatment

Taped

The stitch line is sealed on the underside with heat-applied tape. The needle holes are covered. The tape itself is the part that ages first, and it can lift after several seasons of flexing.

Vents and condensation

No vents

An open canopy over an open cockpit has air moving under it, so condensation is not usually the issue here. It becomes one if you close the sides in. A fully waterproof cover with no ventilation traps condensation underneath. That water comes from the air inside, not from rain. Vents let it out. The covers with vents are marked.

Fastening and wind

Straps

Tension the fore and aft straps evenly. This is fabric only. We supply no frame and no fittings, and we give no advice on rigging it.

Cold rinse and soft brush. Do not machine wash.

Your right to complain

You can report a fault for three years from delivery. For the first two years, if something is wrong, we have to show it wasn't faulty when you got it. Not the other way round.

You have 14 days to change your mind, counted from the day after you receive the goods. You do not have to give a reason. Every item on this site is a standard size, so the right of withdrawal applies to all of them without exception.
